I start out all my clients with an assessment to determine their physical status. I like to do follow up assessments approximately every 6-8 weeks. This allows me to continually fine-tune the program and helps with the athlete’s motivation.
I have set up a program for a teenage male athlete. The program was designed as a
focused supplement to the athlete’s sport training regimen. At three months this client has achieved a 20% increase in vertical jump and a 12% increase in a standing broad jump. We have also drastically increased the athlete’s muscular endurance as shown by a 115% increase in a side plank hold time and a 235% increase in isometric lunge hold time.
This client has no prior experience lifting, at this point in time, the focus is building a base to ensure safety and future efficiency with lifting.
